Mr. Thosarit Achriyasart, Associate Design Director at dwp, shares insights into the Moxy Ratchaprasong Hotel project: “Our design team created an atmosphere that resonates with those young at heart, particularly individuals who seek new and exciting experiences. We infused the hotel with the lively essence of Bangkok’s lifestyle and landmarks, such as Scala and Lido Cinema, particularly in the Moxy Bar, we also captured the vibrant New Year’s Eve atmosphere at Ratchaprasong. Street art and murals can be seen throughout the hotel, complemented by colourful patterned textiles that create a modern-Thai aesthetic. This bright and joyful expression plays out on a robustly designed background of raw concrete and black steel, creating a playful experience that’s inspired by the surrounding city.
Sustainability is at the core of our design approach, aiming to positively impact the environment while enhancing the quality of life for guests. All of dwp’s designers strive to create aesthetically pleasing and environmentally responsible spaces. We carefully select materials aligned with sustainable principles. We utilise advanced 3D software and AI technologies to streamline our workflow and tailor designs based on customer data and feedback. dwp’s creations combine luxury and sustainability, setting new standards through cutting-edge technology, which is evident in the Moxy Bangkok Ratchaprasong.”
